Crook County student Trenton Tucker awarded $5,000 Kiefer Leutschaft Memorial Scholarship
June 13, 2024 - The Crook County community once again stepped forward in supporting local graduates as they pursue their dreams after high school. Local scholarship donations amounted to approximately $300,000 for the 2024 graduating class, given to Crook County graduates (including some alumni). There were 50 graduates who received local scholarships for the Crook County 2024 graduating class.

Grant monies will be directed to the Kiefer Magical Legacy Fund, established by the Leutschaft family of Redmond, in memory of their son, Kiefer, who lost his battle with mental illness in October 2021.

Life Changing Lunch raises over $17,000
