Kiefer Leutschaft Memorial Fund Offers $1,000 Scholarships for Redmond & Crook County Seniors Pursuing Mental Health Careers

February 7, 2025 - Kiefer Magical Legacy Fund Managed by Rimrock Trails Announces the 2025 Kiefer Leutschaft Memorial Scholarships Offering $1,000 Scholarship Opportunity to Seniors at Redmond and Crook County High Schools. Scholarship opportunity is available to seniors from Redmond and Crook County High Schools who are interested in pursuing higher education in psychology, behavioral health, addiction studies, psychiatry, social work, and related fields.

Rimrock Trails Raises Nearly $107,000 For Behavior Health Services and Adolescent Residential Treatment Program

November 13, 2024 - Supporters of Rimrock Trails gathered for the 3rd Annual A Night to Remember: Bowties & Boots at Brasada Ranch. Nearly $107,000 was raised to help local individuals and families access essential behavioral health services.

Crook County student Trenton Tucker awarded $5,000 Kiefer Leutschaft Memorial Scholarship

June 13, 2024 - The Crook County community once again stepped forward in supporting local graduates as they pursue their dreams after high school. Local scholarship donations amounted to approximately $300,000 for the 2024 graduating class, given to Crook County graduates (including some alumni). There were 50 graduates who received local scholarships for the Crook County 2024 graduating class.

Rimrock Trails Treatment Services awarded $25,000 grant from Oregon Community Foundation

December 4, 2023 – Rimrock Trails Treatment Services announced Monday that it has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Oregon Community Foundation. This grant will be used to support dual treatment programs for substance use and behavioral health challenges among youth, individuals, and families in Central Oregon communities.

Class 101 grant received for bikes 

June 6, 2023 - Rimrock Trails Adolescent Residential Treatment Program of Prineville has received a grant for $2,711, which will help support the implementation of a bicycle enrichment program for teens in the residential program working to recover from chemical dependency and mental health challenges.​

St. Charles Health System Partners with Rimrock Trails Treatment Services

January 24, 2025 - Rimrock Trails Treatment Services has received a $10,000 grant from St. Charles Health System to support its Peer Support Specialist Program. The funding will help provide critical services for individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges in Central Oregon, enabling access to enrichment activities and basic needs for recovery. Rimrock Trails continues to offer comprehensive behavioral health services across the region.

‘Kiefer’s Magical Birthday Bash’ at Wild Ride Brewing raises over $47,000 for Kiefer Leutschaft Memorial Fund

April 16, 2024 - Hundreds of community members recently turned out to celebrate the third annual “Kiefer's Magical Birthday Bash” at Wild Ride Brewing in Prineville and Redmond.

The two-day family-friendly event was hosted by Rimrock Trails Treatment Services in partnership with Wild Ride Brewing.

June 13, 2023 - Rimrock Trails Treatment Services has received a $1,500 grant award from the Redmond Spirit Foundation. Grant monies will be directed to the Kiefer Magical Legacy Fund, established by the Leutschaft family of Redmond, in memory of their son, Kiefer, who lost his battle with mental illness in October 2021.

Life Changing Lunch raises over $17,000

May 23, 2023 Through sponsorships and private donations, this second annual event raised over $17,000 to benefit Rimrock Trails’ mental health and substance use counseling programs. Funds will help ensure Central Oregonians have access to needed services, regardless of financial circumstances.​
